Refund Policy

This policy describes when and how you can cancel your subscription or ask for a refund from The Mambo Guild. It is published in accordance with Italian Legislative Decree 206/2005 (Codice del Consumo) art. 49-67, which implements EU Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights.

1. The 7-day free trial

New subscribers may activate a 7-day free trial. During the trial you are not charged. You can cancel at any moment before the trial ends from your account page or by emailing support@themamboguild.com; in that case the subscription does not renew and no charge is made.

If you do not cancel by the end of the trial period, the first paid billing cycle begins automatically using the payment method on file.

2. Right of withdrawal (14 days)

Under art. 52 of the Codice del Consumo, EU and EEA consumers have a right of withdrawal of 14 days from the day the contract is concluded, without giving any reason.

Important: waiver for digital content. The Mambo Guild delivers digital content (video lessons, interactive curriculum) that is made available immediately on subscription. Pursuant to art. 59(1)(o) of the Codice del Consumo, by ticking the "I accept the Terms and expressly waive my right of withdrawal once digital content starts streaming" box at checkout you agree to begin performance of the contract during the withdrawal period and acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal as soon as a lesson video begins playing.

If you have not yet streamed any lesson video, you keep the full 14-day withdrawal right. To exercise it, email support@themamboguild.com with the subject "Withdrawal" and the email address used at registration. We will refund the amount paid within 14 days using the same payment method.

3. Recurring subscriptions

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly, depending on the plan you chose). You can cancel a renewal at any time from the Stripe billing portal linked in your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period; the period already paid remains accessible until then.

Once a paid period has started, the corresponding fee is not pro-rated or refunded for unused days, except where the law explicitly requires it (for example a successful withdrawal under section 2 above).

4. Defective service

If the platform becomes unavailable for an extended period because of a fault on our side, contact support@themamboguild.com and we will issue a credit or refund proportional to the unavailable period.
