The Windmill Flick 🌬️

This is one of Pavle's own favourites for the social floor, and it introduces a flick he named himself:

A new flick that I call the windmill flick, into a free turn.

The order to memorise is short: right, left, up.

Spin First, Then Hammerlock πŸ”’

The entry is a double right Axle Turn into a Hammerlock. The hand positions on 7 decide whether it works:

Here's gonna be your left. It's gonna be up, and your right at the hip level for a Hammerlock.

The reason the left goes on top is that the Leader spins first.

Stand Off The Line To Flick πŸ“

Before the flick down, the Leader has to move himself:

I need to be a little bit outside of the line.

If you stay squared up in front of her it will not work, because you are dancing face to face. The elbow goes inside rather than outside, then straight down, then under and catch.

Karate Chop On Six πŸ₯‹

The finish has a distinctive shape. The right does a karate chop, the other hand comes underneath, then you go down with the right and come up with the left. That is your six, then seven you clear out of the way and lead a free Inside Turn.

Hold, Do Not Chase 🀲

Maite's advice covers the moment the connection is not there yet:

I don't care, I maintain. I hold the hand like this and I continue spinning, then he will grab the hand.

If he never takes it, return to your basic position, wait, and let him decide the next move.

Wrist Decoration While You Spin ✨

Before the Cross Body Lead you can extend the arm, pulling elbow then wrist then fingers, or touch yourself softly using only the palm and not the fingers.

The bigger decoration crosses the wrists together with the palms facing out:

This is the left hand, so in that, like a Dragon Ball.

From there you rotate the wrist, draw a circle in the clock direction, hit the air with the right, then the same with the left, then keep rotating the first hand and then the other. Finish by rotating inwards to close the combination.

It's a little bit hard, so take your time, repeat. Do it slowly first and then a little bit faster.

πŸ’‘ Drill it: Say the windmill order out loud as you do it: right, left, up. Add the double Axle entry only once that is automatic.
