Cuban Hip Scoop

Also called: cuban hip, hip scoop, posterior tilt

Definition

The hip action that drives the Cuban-style bounce: as you bounce down you move the hips from neutral into a posterior tilt by squeezing the glutes, keeping the upper body tall and shoulders quiet. You know you have it when your lower back flattens from its natural curve.
