Metal Bar Rule

Also called: arm opposition, elbow opposition, invisible bar

Definition

An arm principle for Son Cubano and salsa arm styling, the elbows move in opposition as if joined by an invisible bar, one coming in as the other goes out, always moving together and staying the same distance apart. On count 1 the left elbow comes in and the right goes out.
