Scissor Kick

Also called: flying scissor kick, flying scissors, scissor kicks, scissors

Definition

The star move of Hook 3, where Salsa On2 meets tap-dance flavor. After a heel scuff on 8 and a leg switch on 1, the kicking leg traces a rond de jambe outward and pulls cleanly into a passé, with a hip twist on "and 2" and twist back on 3.
