What This Module Trains 🎯

Two short Boogaloo moves for the party. Big impact, pull them out anytime.

The Move 🧠

Lesson 1. Boogaloo knees.

  • Boogaloo knees. I stand quite wide, a bit more than shoulder width apart, and I come up on my toes and push my knees to the front while maintaining the rest of my body straight.
  • In the basic I open on 4 and 5, and 6 7 is the step.

Lesson 2. Boogaloo shoulders.

  • Boogaloo shoulders. One shoulder comes up, the other comes down, and then we switch and we switch again, so it goes three times.
  • I angle left on the 8, then shoulder up, down with a squat, up: 1 and down 2. Same on the other side.

How the Drill Runs 🔁

  1. Boogaloo knees.
  2. Boogaloo shoulders, small, then both again.

Technique Cues 💡

  • Keep your body straight. No Pachanga, no bouncing.
  • Isolate one leg at a time.
  • On 6 7 it needs to be sharp.
  • Go with your chest and shoulder, not the feet.

💡 Drill it: Get each move on its own, then run them on the music.
