The Move 🧠

Pas de bourrée. This is going to be like a pas de bourrée, or a cross back, open, cross front, and this is the step that we are going to be using a lot here.

Body roll. How it feels like is like a wave, like you are going like a roller coaster, you are going in and 1, up, down.

  • Angles: cross back, open, cross front, tap, kick, back on 4 and 5.
  • Turns: prep, turn, cross back, prep the other way.
  • Jumps: down on 1 2 3, jump on 4, back then front.

How the Drill Runs 🔁

  1. Angles.
  2. Body roll.
  3. Tootsie Roll.
  4. Spins and jumps.

Technique Cues 💡

  • Lean left, push back, flick your legs. That is the kick.
  • Drag your abs, squeeze your glutes.
  • Spot on the turns so you do not get dizzy.

💡 Drill it: keep on practising. Day after day you practise the same moves, the same steps, and you are just going to be getting better and better every single day.

🎯 Community

Practice without judging yourself. Every dancer started exactly where you are. Be patient. This lands in the body over months, not days. Record yourself. You will see things you cannot feel. Post it in the community tab, or on Instagram tagging the page.
