Pachanga Kicks

Also called: pachanga kick

Definition

A Hook Step variation with a syncopated rhythm timed 1, and 2, 3 (then 5, and 6, 7) and a kick that adds flair. You come up and kick on count 8 with the kicking leg forward and the upper body leaning back, then drop down on 1 as you cross, keeping the bounce alive and later redirecting the kicks to the side.
