Side Waves

Also called: lateral wave, side wave

Definition

The wave applied laterally, sequencing head tilt, shoulder tilt, chest slide on the diagonal, then hip slide, with the chest slide carrying the visual impact. The wave is reversed by initiating with the knee, which shifts the hip back and rolls the movement up to the head.
