Soft knees

Also called: soft knee

Definition

Bending the knees to lower the center of gravity and let body weight sink into the floor, enabling the delayed, rolling weight transfer of son montuno and the resulting Cuban motion. The knee never fully locks, staying engaged so the center of gravity drops continuously into the floor.
