What This Module Trains 🎯

The Traqueteo, the usual swing step On1, with a half turn and on four corners.

The Moves 🧠

Lesson 1.

Traqueteo. Your basic 1, 2, 3, a heel on 4, travel to the front and open on 8, then repeat going to the back.

  • Step 5 on the spot or slightly forward, not back.
  • The heel and the open are a tap, with no weight.

Lesson 2.

Traqueteo con Concolo. The same Traqueteo with half a turn: right going to the front, left going to the back.

  • Face your back on 8, the front again on 3.

Lesson 3.

Traqueteo Four Corners. The same step on your right and left diagonals instead of front and back.

  • Always come back to the middle, facing the front.

How the Drill Runs πŸ”

  1. Traqueteo, front and back
  2. Traqueteo con Concolo
  3. Four Corners, then all three again

Technique Cues πŸ’‘

  • Come up on 4 and 8, or drop down: keep the bounce.
  • Make sure you travel.
  • To exit, step 5 back into the basic.

πŸ’‘ Drill it: mix all three variations.
